NEW CLIENT HANDBOOK

Scale 3PL has launched a new Client Handbook designed to make working with our fulfilment operation simpler, clearer and more transparent.

The handbook brings together the operational guides, processes and documentation that clients need to run their fulfilment smoothly. It provides a single location where clients can understand how our warehouse works, how to send stock correctly and how orders move through the system.

WHY WE BUILT THE CLIENT HANDBOOK

As our fulfilment operation has grown, we noticed that many clients were asking the same operational questions:

  • How do I send stock to the warehouse?

  • What documents are required for EU shipments?

  • How do I create an inbound shipment?

  • What happens when stock arrives?

Instead of answering these questions individually each time, we built a structured knowledge base that explains each process clearly.

The goal is simple: make fulfilment predictable and easy to work with.

WHAT THE HANDBOOK INCLUDES

The new handbook includes guides covering the most common operational processes.

Examples include:

  • How to send stock to the Scale 3PL warehouse

  • Creating an ASN in Mintsoft

  • The UK goods-in process

  • The EU goods-in process

  • Customs declaration requirements

  • Uploading product datasheets

  • Order processing and dispatch

Each article explains what clients need to do, what our warehouse team will do and what information is required.

SUPPORTING EU FULFILMENT

The handbook also includes guidance for clients shipping stock into our EU warehouse.

This includes documentation requirements such as:

  • commercial invoices

  • HS codes

  • customs declarations

  • EU EORI numbers.

Clear documentation reduces delays during customs clearance and helps ensure stock can be received quickly once it arrives.
