FAQs

European delivery, answered

Do parcels from Rotterdam to EU countries need customs documents?
No. The Netherlands is inside the EU, so parcels to other EU countries travel without customs declarations, duty or delays at the border. That’s the big advantage of holding stock in Rotterdam.
Are these times for tracked delivery?
No. They’re estimates for standard post. Faster, tracked courier services such as FedEx, GLS and Spring are also available, and we choose the right service for each order.
When does the clock start?
The times are working days from when your parcel leaves our warehouse to the first delivery attempt. Orders received by 12pm go out the same working day.
Why does Ireland take longer?
Ireland is an island, so parcels travel further and take longer to reach. A tracked courier service is usually the better choice if speed matters.
Can you ship to the UK from Rotterdam?
Yes. UK deliveries from Rotterdam need customs declarations, which we handle. If most of your customers are in the UK, our Thame warehouse is usually the better option.
Do times change at peak?
Yes. Around Black Friday, Christmas and public holidays, deliveries can take longer. We post updates on our EU operational updates page.
