Evri surcharge increase

Please see below a communication from Evri

Dear Valued Customer,

We're writing to let you know about a change to Evri's Middle East Fuel Surcharge.

Continued instability in the Middle East is still causing major disruption to global energy markets. Fuel costs have stayed high as a result, affecting transport and delivery operations across the UK and Europe.

Since February 2026, the Platts Fuel Index has risen by 45%, UK pump prices by 35%, and CNG costs by 72%. These increases are well beyond the levels in place when the surcharge was first introduced. At that point, it was set at 2.5% to reflect a rise of around 20% in the Platts Fuel Index.

To fully reflect current costs, the surcharge would need to rise to around 5.5%. However, recognising the pressures our customers are also facing, Evri will absorb part of this increase. The surcharge will instead rise by 1.5%, effective from 1st October 2026.

We will keep monitoring market conditions closely. As a guide:

* The 4.0% surcharge will apply while the Platts Fuel Index average stays between £1.25 and £1.65.
* If the index average falls below £1.25, we aim to reduce the surcharge to 2.5%.
* If the index average rises above £1.65, we will review the surcharge level again.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support. If you have any questions about this update, please contact your ITD Account Manager.

Kind regards,

Evri
