Connect your Squarespace store.

Link Squarespace Commerce to Mintsoft and your orders flow straight to our warehouse, your stock levels stay in sync and orders are marked as fulfilled when we despatch.

Before you start

Four quick checks.

Squarespace Advanced plan

API access needs Squarespace’s Advanced plan.

Admin access to your site

You’ll need to be able to open your site’s Settings to create an API key.

SKUs that match

Each product and variant needs the same SKU in Squarespace as in Mintsoft.

Somewhere safe for the key

Squarespace only shows your key once, so have a password manager or note ready.

Create your API key

You
  1. In Squarespace, open Settings and go to Developer API Keys (under Advanced or Developer tools).
  2. Click Create Key and name it something like “Scale 3PL Mintsoft”.
  3. Tick the Orders and Inventory APIs and set both to Read & Write.
  4. Copy the key straight away. Squarespace won’t show it again once you close the box.

Add the connection in Mintsoft

You, or us on a call
  1. Go to Connect → Order Integrations → SquareSpace and click Create New.
  2. Paste in your API Key.
  3. Set the order frequency, turn on Stock Sync and set how often it runs.
  4. Click Add.

We check and go live

Scale 3PL
  1. We check your shipping options are mapped to the right courier services.
  2. We make the connection Active, and orders start importing.

So we can import your orders and mark them as fulfilled with tracking.

Read & Write
Inventory API

So your stock levels update in Squarespace. Only needed for stock sync, but we recommend it.

Read & Write

Please don’t email your API key. If you’d rather we added the connection for you, email support to book a quick call and we’ll do it together.

How Squarespace orders work with us.

Which orders import

We import orders that are waiting to be fulfilled in Squarespace (status: Pending).

Stock sync needs Inventory access

If your key only has Orders access, stock won’t sync. Create a new key with Inventory too, and update it in Mintsoft.

New key? Update Mintsoft

Creating a new key in Squarespace doesn’t update Mintsoft. The new key has to be pasted into the connection.

Despatch and tracking

When we despatch, the order is marked as fulfilled in Squarespace with tracking for your customer.

Limit by country

If you only want certain countries to import, we can restrict the connection to a shipping zone.

Orders import on a timer

Mintsoft checks Squarespace for new orders at the frequency set on the connection.

Troubleshooting

Something not right?

I can’t find Developer API Keys

API keys need Squarespace’s Advanced plan. If you’re on a lower plan, you’ll need to upgrade first.

Orders aren’t importing

Check the orders are still waiting to be fulfilled in Squarespace, as we only import Pending orders. Then check the connection is Active and the key hasn’t been deleted in Squarespace.

Stock isn’t updating in Squarespace

Your key needs Inventory access with Read & Write. If you created it with Orders only, generate a new key with both and paste it into the connection. Also check your SKUs match exactly.

I lost my API key

Squarespace can’t show it again. Delete the old key, create a new one with the same permissions and paste it into the Mintsoft connection.

Orders aren’t being marked as fulfilled

The key needs Read & Write on Orders. A read-only key can import orders but can’t send despatch updates back.
