Connect your Shopify store.

Link Shopify to Mintsoft and your orders flow straight to our warehouse, your stock levels stay in sync and your customers get their tracking automatically. Setup takes three short steps.

Checked against Mintsoft’s help centre, October 2026

Before you start

Four quick checks.

Your store is live

Mintsoft can only connect to a live Shopify store.

No password page

Remove storefront password protection before you connect.

Not paused

Stores in Paused (“On holiday”) mode can’t connect.

Your Mintsoft login

You’ll log in to Mintsoft during setup. Ask your account manager if you need your details.

Step by step

Three steps to go live.

1In Shopify

Install the Mintsoft app

  1. Log in to your Shopify store.
  2. Go to the Shopify App Store and search for Mintsoft.
  3. Click Install app and accept the permissions.
  4. You’ll be sent to Mintsoft. Log in with your warehouse credentials (your Mintsoft login).
2In Mintsoft

Save the connection

  1. You’ll land on the Shopify connection page with your Shopify URL already filled in.
  2. Set the connection to Active.
  3. Click Save.
3In Mintsoft

Set your location

  1. Go to Connect → Order Integrations → Shopify.
  2. Click Get Location next to your new connection, then Set Location.
  3. Choose the Shopify location where you manage stock and orders.
  4. Click Edit on the connection, set Active to ON and click Update.

Don’t skip step 3. Without a location set, orders won’t import and stock won’t update. Make sure your products are assigned to the location you choose.

Once you’re connected

What happens next.

Orders flow in

Paid, unfulfilled Shopify orders import into Mintsoft automatically. They’re never imported twice.

Stock syncs back

Your stock levels update in Shopify, so you don’t oversell.

Tracking goes to your customer

When we despatch, Shopify is marked as fulfilled and gets the tracking number.

Troubleshooting

Something not right?

Orders aren’t coming through

Check your store is live and not paused, and that a location has been set on the connection (step 3). If it still isn’t working, disconnect it in Mintsoft, uninstall and reinstall the Mintsoft app in Shopify, then set the connection to Active again.

Stock isn’t updating in Shopify

Your products and variants need to be assigned to the same Shopify location you chose in step 3. Products that aren’t assigned to that location won’t get stock updates. Also check the SKUs match exactly in Shopify and Mintsoft.

“An error occurred while updating the entries”

This usually means the store was connected before, or an earlier attempt didn’t finish. Disconnect the connection in Mintsoft, uninstall and reinstall the Mintsoft app in Shopify, log in again and set the connection to Active.

Can I import older orders?

Yes, as long as they haven’t been fulfilled or cancelled in Shopify. By default Mintsoft looks back 7 days, so ask our support team if you need to go further back.

My checkout still shows my old 3PL’s name

Shipping method names are set in Shopify, not Mintsoft. Update them in your Shopify shipping settings.

I can’t give out my Shopify login

No problem. You can give us collaborator access to your Shopify store instead, and we’ll install the app for you. Email support and we’ll take you through it.

Based on Mintsoft’s Shopify Integration and Shopify Troubleshooting guides.
