Marketplace integrations · Etsy
Connect your Etsy shop.
Link Etsy to Mintsoft and your orders flow straight to our warehouse, your stock levels stay in sync and your buyers get tracking when we despatch. Send us three details, then authorise with one click.
EtsyBefore you start
Four quick checks.
Setting up Etsy is now much simpler
You no longer need to create your own app in Etsy’s developer portal. Mintsoft now has its own Etsy app, so you just grant access from your Etsy account.
Find your shop details
You’ll need your Shop Name, Shop ID and User ID. See how to find them below.
Holiday mode off
If your shop is on holiday, Etsy tells Mintsoft it’s closed and nothing will sync.
SKUs on every listing
Each active listing (and variation) needs the same SKU as in Mintsoft.
Etsy account up to date
Keep your Etsy selling invoices paid. Unpaid bills can stop orders importing.
Step by step
Three steps to go live.
Send us your shop details
You- Find your Shop Name, Shop ID and User ID (see below).
- Email them to our support team and tell us you’d like to connect Etsy.
We add the connection
Scale 3PL- We add your Etsy shop to Mintsoft with stock sync and product sync turned on.
- We turn on ImportListingIDs, so your Etsy listing IDs are matched to your SKUs automatically.
- We’ll let you know when it’s ready for you to authorise.
Authorise Etsy
You- Log in to Mintsoft at om.mintsoft.co.uk.
- Go to Connect → Order Integrations → Etsy and click Authorise Account next to your shop.
- Log in to Etsy when asked and click Grant Access.
- You’ll come back to Mintsoft and the connection will show as authorised.
Finding your shop details
The last part of your Etsy shop web address. Enter it exactly as it appears.
Log out of Etsy (or open a private window) and go to your shop page. Hover over the Contact button and look at the link that appears in the bottom-left corner of your browser. The first number is your Shop ID.
In that same link, the second number is your User ID. Send us both numbers with your Shop Name.
Ready to connect? Email support@scale3pl.co.uk (UK) or supporteu@scale3pl.co.uk (EU) with your Shop Name, Shop ID and User ID.
Shipping mapping
Etsy’s delivery options.
Etsy sends the delivery option your buyer chose with every order. Each one is mapped to one of our courier services in Mintsoft. These are the options we usually see:
Standard ShippingTracked Next Day Delivery1-3 Day International DeliveryUsing different delivery options? Tell us the names you’ve set up in your Etsy shop and we’ll check they’re mapped to the right courier services.
Good to know
How Etsy orders work with us.
Etsy won’t accept zero stock on single listings
When a product sells out, deactivate the listing in Etsy, and reactivate it when new stock arrives. Mintsoft can’t set a single listing to zero.
Sold-out variations can show as unavailable
With “Send Zero Stock Level for Variation” on, a sold-out variation shows as unavailable while its siblings stay on sale.
Etsy limits how much can sync
Etsy caps daily API use. Shops with lots of listings and variations can hit the limit, which pauses stock updates until it resets.
Listing IDs are matched for you
Mintsoft imports each listing ID and saves it against your SKU, so there’s no manual mapping.
Connected the old way?
If your shop was connected with your own Etsy developer app, it needs moving to the Mintsoft app. See the troubleshooting section.
Despatch and tracking
When we despatch, the order is updated in Etsy with tracking for your buyer.
Troubleshooting
Something not right?
Orders have stopped importing
First check your shop isn’t in holiday mode. Then check your Etsy selling invoices are paid. If an unpaid bill has closed access, pay it and let us know, as the connection may need authorising again.
Stock isn’t updating on Etsy
Check the listing is active on Etsy and has the same SKU as in Mintsoft. Your listing ID should be saved against the product (Products → Overview → Edit → Alternative Codes). If it’s missing, ask us to run a full stock sync.
“Unable to Sync Stock Level for ListingID: System.Collections.Generic.List…”
This means Mintsoft tried to set a listing to zero, which Etsy doesn’t allow. Deactivate sold-out single listings in Etsy. For variations, we can turn on “Send Zero Stock Level for Variation”.
“(429) Exceeded daily rate limit”
This is Etsy’s daily limit, not a Mintsoft setting. It normally resets within 24 hours. If it keeps happening, we can slow down how often stock syncs.
My shop was connected with my own Etsy app
In Etsy, go to Integrations → Manage and disconnect the old integration. Then in Mintsoft go to Connect → Order Integrations → Etsy, click Reauthorise Account and Grant Access.
Does Etsy work with Workspace or our own Mintsoft login page?
You must authorise Etsy through om.mintsoft.co.uk, even if you normally log in to Mintsoft another way.
Based on Mintsoft’s Etsy Integration and Etsy Troubleshooting guides.
