Marketplace integrations · eBay
Connect your eBay store.
Link eBay to Mintsoft and your paid orders flow straight to our warehouse, your stock levels stay in sync and your buyers get tracking automatically. We do most of the setup; you just authorise the connection.
eBayBefore you start
Four quick checks.
Turn on eBay’s out-of-stock option
In your eBay selling preferences, switch on “Use the out-of-stock option”. Without it, listings stay live when stock hits zero.
Add your SKUs as custom labels
Every listing, and every variation, needs the same SKU in eBay’s custom label field as in Mintsoft. Matching is case-sensitive.
Log out of eBay
Close any open eBay sessions before you authorise, so the right account is connected.
Your Mintsoft login
You’ll authorise from Mintsoft at om.mintsoft.co.uk. Ask your account manager if you need your details.
Step by step
Three steps, shared with us.
Why we set up the connection
Mintsoft only lets the warehouse create or change an eBay connection. So we set it up for you, then you log in and authorise it with your eBay account.
We create the connection
Scale 3PL- Email our support team to say you’d like to connect eBay, with your eBay username.
- We add the eBay connection to your Mintsoft account and leave it switched off for now.
- We’ll let you know when it’s ready for you to authorise.
You authorise eBay
You- Log out of eBay, then log in to Mintsoft at om.mintsoft.co.uk.
- Go to Connect → Order Integrations → eBay and click AuthoriseAccount next to your connection.
- Click Authorise Account again. eBay opens in a new tab, so don’t close the Mintsoft tab.
- Log in to eBay and click Agree.
- Close the eBay tab, go back to Mintsoft and click Complete.
We switch it on
Scale 3PL- We check your eBay listings are mapped to your products in Mintsoft, including variations.
- We turn on stock sync and make the connection Active.
- Paid orders start importing every 15 minutes.
Ready to connect? Email support@scale3pl.co.uk (UK) or supporteu@scale3pl.co.uk (EU) to start step 1.
Shipping mapping
eBay’s shipping tags, explained.
eBay sends a shipping tag with every UK order. Each tag is mapped to one of our courier services in Mintsoft, so orders go out on the service your buyer paid for. Search for the tags you use.

Good to know
How eBay orders work with us.
Only paid orders import
Orders import once they’re Paid and not already marked as shipped on eBay.
Order numbers can differ
eBay’s order number may not match the one in Mintsoft. We can use eBay’s sales record number instead, where it’s available.
EU orders need a euro rate
eBay requires EU orders under €150 to be in euros for IOSS. We keep a GBP to EUR rate set up so they import cleanly.
eBay access expires
eBay expires the connection token from time to time. If it does, we’ll ask you to authorise again (step 2).
VAT on despatch notes
eBay only sends prices including VAT. We can show a VAT breakdown on your despatch notes if you need it.
Over 5,000 listings?
We can sync listings and stock overnight to keep things fast. Stock on eBay may then lag until the next day.
Troubleshooting
Something not right?
Orders aren’t importing
Check the order is Paid on eBay and hasn’t been marked as shipped. If it still doesn’t appear, your eBay access may have expired. Contact support and we’ll check the connection.
“Authorisation token is hard expired”
eBay has expired your connection. Let us know and we’ll reset it, then authorise again by following step 2.
Stock isn’t updating on eBay
Make sure the custom label on eBay matches your Mintsoft SKU exactly, with no spaces at either end and the same upper and lower case. Each listing and variation also needs to be mapped in Mintsoft, so let us know about any new listings.
A listing stayed live with no stock
Turn on eBay’s out-of-stock option in your selling preferences. Without it, eBay keeps the listing live when stock reaches zero.
I changed my eBay password
You may need to authorise the connection again. Follow step 2, or contact support if the button isn’t there.
“Your application has exceeded usage limit”
This is an eBay limit on your account, not a Mintsoft setting. Contact eBay to check your API usage and ask for a higher limit.
Based on Mintsoft’s eBay Integration, eBay Troubleshooting and eBay Courier Service Mapping guides.
