The Netherlands is currently experiencing extreme heat, with code red issued in parts of the country. This means we need to take extra care, both within our operations and on the road.

We are doing everything we can to continue processing and picking up your parcels as smoothly as possible. At the same time, the heat may impact our planning. Pickup times may therefore be adjusted. We also see that many businesses are closing earlier or are closed completely because of the heat. As a result, some driver routes may be planned differently or may be shorter than usual.

We have also adjusted working hours in our sorting operations and taken additional measures to support our colleagues during these hot days. These include extra fans, neck fans, cooling vests and other measures to keep workplaces as cool and safe as possible.

We kindly ask for your understanding if things run a little differently than usual today. The health and safety of our drivers, sorting colleagues and all other team members come first.

Please take care of yourself and each other, drink enough water and try to stay out of the heat as much as possible.
