evri pricing changes

Dear Valued Customer,

Upcoming changes to Evri pricing and parcel specifications

We’;re writing to let you know about a number of changes that Evri is introducing across their network, effective 1 September 2026. This letter covers three changes: an update to the Light and Large service, a change to Packet specifications, and the introduction of new surcharges for larger-volume parcels.

1. Light & Large parcel tiers

Today, Evri’s Light and Large service covers a single product, with a maximum weight of 30kg, a maximum length of 1.8m, and a maximum combined dimension of 420cm. From 1 September 2026, that single product will be replaced by three separate tiers — Heavy & Large, XL, and XXL — each with its own weight, length, volume, and combined-dimension limits. A litre cap will also apply for the first time, at every tier.

2. Change to Packet specifications

Evri is also updating the specification for Packet items, effective 1 September 2026. The maximum length is reducing from 120cm to 50cm; maximum weight remains capped at 2kg, and litreage is capped at 30L.

3. New 60L and 80L parcel surcharges

Evri is introducing two new surcharges for larger-volume parcels. Both the 60L and 80L surcharges takes effect from 1 September 2026.

Why these changes are happening

The reason for this change is cost. Larger and heavier parcels are simply more expensive for carriers to collect, sort, and deliver — they take up more space in vehicles, are handled more carefully, and move through the network less efficiently than smaller items.
